Curve - Chinese Burn
Universal Canada - 8 trk CDS
Curve evoles into a new animal. Containing the elegant enchanting roots of
Toni Haliday's vocals, and today's new harder electronic aspects, Curve
have come out with Chinese Burn. This CDS contains 6 mixes of Chinese Burn
as well as 2 new songs. Some mixes are pretty heavy and gives you a good
flow of energy.

Halomaker - Self Infected Creep
Outburn - 11 trk CD
Harsh and heavy vocals placed over a sinister surrounding of instrumentation
and sound. This CD contains a variety of music from upbeat to more slow
paced. Overall the CD is pretty good, sometimes it sounds a little overdone
with the vocals on the more upbeat tracks.

Thantos - Blisters
Projekt - 11trk CD
Very minimal CD, concentrating on the vocals of Thantos and lyrics. A
pretty mellow CD. Great acoustics blended in with some songs which
compliment the vocals very well. A gothy mellow sound which is relaxing.

PIG - Wrecked
TVT/Wax Trax - 10 trk CD
Fast, upbeat quick paced. Definately like older PIG CD's. This one has a
sharp hook to it. KMFDM's influence is very present, in fact It is more
KMFDM style then KMFDM's last CD. Full of energy and movement this one is
sure to push the dancefloor. As well there are some interesting body parts
incorporated in the cover art.

Velvet Acid Christ - Church of Acid
Pendragon - 12 trk CD
EBM darkfloor style. A few really good mellow tracks on the CD as well as
some harder music. More on the heavy mellow EBM concentration. Haunting
and pleasing. Another good release from this label.

Ikon - In the Shadow of the Angel
Metropolis - 11 trk CD
Dark vocals, sounds like an upbeat Joy Division, mainly due to the vocals
being so similar. This CD will appeal to those into Goth very much and will
be a sure seller in time.

Mentallo & the Fixer - False Profits
Metropolis - 4 trk CDS
This CDS contains 2 remixes of "Mother of Harlots" plus 2 extra tracks.
This CDS is more of an instrumental focus for Mentallo. Nothing too harsh
or mellow, moreso a steady CD demonstrating the abilities and flexibilities
of this band.

Dominion - Only the Strong Survive
Metropolis - 11 trk CD
Dark gothy vocals mixed with electronics. Some very cool experimentation
with sounds. Not your typical Goth CD. Good layer of music which is
powerful stuff.

Porcupine Defense - Splinter
Metropolis - 13 trk CD
Rough and raw vocals from Colin Schwen (Terminal Sect). The music as well
has the same feel to it. Not too many "electronic" sounds, Sounds like
roductions was taken to a minimal approach.

Out Out - Voiceprint
Metropolis - 11 trk CD
With snarling vocals of Mark Alan Miller. Very memorable to the Ministry
"Twitch" CD, especially vocally. Slow steady creeping music which lurks in
your CD player as you listen. At times a little monotonous, a little slow,
but ok.

Wumpscut - Dried Blood Of Gomorrha
Metropolis - 9 trk CD
This CD is a combination of two early ep's by Wumpscut. Heavy, aggressive
and angry. Definately something to pickup. Contains songs unavailable
anywhere else. More aggressive then other CD's, a little more angry and
brutal. Another great product put out by this band.
