Elegant Machinery - Fading Away
A Different Drum - 6 track CDS
Meloncholy electro pop music. Four versions of Fading Away plus two
bonus tracks. Very Depeche Mode like style. Synth pop eighty sound,
with melodic, mellow dramatic vocals. A little too poppy and
exhausting.

Neuroactive - Phomic Trace
A Different Drum - 13 track CD
Electro industrial EBM styed music. Vocals are a little monotonous
though the music is pure electronic and melodic. There are not a wide
variety of sounds or samples, nor is it ever extreme or aggresssive
which makes it on the whole a little dull.

Various Artist - Cryogenic Studios
Cleopatra Records - 9 track CD
Named after Bill Leeb's (Frontline Assmbly) studio, this cd is a
compilation of some of his side projects. Equinox, Frontline Assembly,
Delerium, Pro-Tech and Synesthesia are the bands on this compilation. A
fine mix of intelligent music mixed with a lot of atmosphere. Certainly
a good collabaratioin in terms of a sample for Bill Leeb's variety. The
Delerium tracks are simply beautiful.

Aghast View - Carcinopest CD
Gashed Records - 12 track CD
Irate sounds combined with electronics, guitar and harsh vocals. Sounds
like Frontline with less variety and more heavy on the guitars. Overall
there lacks variety to hold interest. Pretty driving and heavy.

Lateral Tension - Pressure Device
Independent - 14 track CD
Snarling snickering vocals. The music is not bad. They do sound very
typically and industrila experimantal band. The vocals get a little
annoying at times.

Electric Hellfire Club - Unholy Roller
Cleopatra Records - 10trk CD
Crazy music by crazy guys. Definitely will appeal to fans, but overall
a more satanic rocking CD. Raw sounding and though most songs are
remixed not impressive, Regardless kinda fun, entertaining at least.

Equinox - Holon
Cleopatra Records - 9 trk CD
Yet another Frontline Assembly side project. Featuring Bill Leeb and
Chris Peterson, the CD is more atmosphere oriented. The influence of
breakbeats and ambient. Actually done very well and enjoyable as
background music. Nothing heavy but easy to digest.

Scar Tissue - Rebuild
21st Circuitry Records - *16 trk CD
An amazing CD from this versitile band. Break beat, drum and bass
sounds. Heavy sounding and many influences. Definitely something
different and unique. Not your typical industrial dance music but
something heavy enough for the club culture.

Covenant - Europa
21st Circuitry Records - 9 trk CD
Well quite frankly a little disappointing, maybe due to high
expectations but still not their best. Covenant seem to have condensed
their music sound and minimized their layering . They are a little more
electronically sounded as opposed to industrial darkfloor. The Cd is
still good. Many songs are typically Covevant, but many lack any
melody and end up sounding very monotonous. Though the more I listen
the more it grows on me.

Various - Diva X Machinery 2
COP International - 15 trk CD
Well this is the second Cd in the series which contains female
industrial artist compiled into a good CD. Some songs seem like fillers
and are really not worthy, but on the whole the Cd contains good variety
of female artists and sounds. A good compilation to pick up
