Apoptygma Berzerk - The Apopcalyptic Manifesto
Metropolis Records - 16 trk CD
A sort of Pop Industrial CD. A lot of 80's elctro sounds which make it comparable to a heavier Depeche Mode. Though the Cd is still in an EBM category, it varies to being poppy to industrial. There is variety to it with the basis of EBM. Vocals work well with the songs. Some songs contain too tacky sounds at times. Overall a decent Cd and a easily accepted one.



Cleen - Designed Memories
Metropolis Records - 8 trk CD
From Haujobb and Forma Tadre comes another collaboration project. Cleen is still minimal and formulated on the dark atmosphere of vocals and music. Cleen have mastered the art of being heavy without being too much. Some might argue the music is to subdued but still waters run deep and in this case there are. Definately a great CD hopefully we will be seeing more by them.



Frontline Assembly - Comatose
Metropolis Records - 4 trk CDS
Second single from the darkfloor leaders. This single contains 3 mixes of Comatose which are all right but nothing mindblowing. What is exceptional is the extra track, "Oblivion". This track experiments with break beats, utalizing it very discretely and comfortably. A well done aggressive song. Definatle one of the best FLA songs to date and with the times.



Snog - Buy Me...I'll Change Your Life
Metropolis Records - 12 trk CD
Wacky and weird. Ok not the usual Snog stuff but very cool. To give an idea, I would say the music blends western, industrial, demonic, trashy, demented, elements in one. The result is no dance Cd, but a unique interesting dark mood.



Gravity Kills - Perversion
TVT/Wax Trax/A&M Records - 10 trk CD
Gravity Kills comes out with a new full length. Combination of the alternative rock with the industrial rock. The blend is a good cross over. Many people have compared then to Nine Inch Nails. The difference is that the vocals are more coherant ang less screaming with Gravity Kills but musically there is more of an "Alternative" feel to it.



Crocodile Shop - Soviet (various artist remix)
Tinman Records - 13 trk CD
A remix Cd of Crocodile Shop's material. Some noteable mixes are from Battery, Collide, Android Lust, Urania/UTN, Ivoux plus more. Actually the songs are well done and pretty impressive. Quite an enjoyable CD.
